ID projects implemented in Yunnan ang Guizhou provinces allow carbon emession reductions and improvement of poor rural populations living conditions.

ID Biogas and Wood-saving stove allow beneficiaries to reduce their consumption in non-renewable energies (wood and/or coal), hence reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The Emission Reductions (ERs) are sold on the voluntary carbon finance market.

The income from emission reductions sales enables ID to provide long-term quality control of all its Biogas and Wood-saving stove projects while investing in new environmental or community projects for the benefit of the most underprivileged populations.
